On returning to New Zealand in 1991 Sally lectured in tourism studies at the Waikato Institute of Technology (now WINTEC) prior to establishing Forum Meeting Planners Ltd in 1993.
Sally has been an active leader for the past 12 years in the development of convention industry education in New Zealand. She established a Centre for Excellence in partnership with Conventions & Incentives New Zealand and Meetings and Events Australia (MEA) for ongoing industry education and the facilitation of industry accreditation.
In 1997 Sally established the MEETINGS exhibition in conjunction with Conventions & Incentives New Zealand. This show has become an integral part of growing New Zealand’s domestic and international convention and incentive travel business which for the 2008 show was expected to result in around $180 million of business being secured.
Sally is Managing Director of ForumPoint2.

The events sector is an area of specialisation, with involvement in a wide range of activities including the Hamilton 400 V8 Supercars. Dallas is also an independent director of the Chiefs Super 14 franchise and Board Chairman of Go Bus Ltd.
Dallas, a previous category winner of the Ernst Young Entrepreneur of the Year, brings significant skills to ForumPoint2 across not only the events sector but other industry sectors he is involved in including manufacturing, catering, transport, tourism and publishing, advertising and web and the dairy industry.
Management & Support Staff
Her career spans 30 years in a variety of industries from book publishing and farming to events and hospitality. She has held management roles in publicity, marketing, events, hospitality and business development.
Linda was Event Manager for the popular Balloons over Waikato Festival for four years before joining Montana Catering to manage the logistics of providing catering at large scale public events such as the ITM 400 V8 Supercars and A1GP World Cup of Motorsport. She also manages the prestigious Westpac Waikato Business Excellence Awards Black Tie Dinner for the Waikato Chamber of Commerce.
As Project Director for ForumPoint2, Linda works full-time in the business, leading a talented team of people managing existing and future projects for Montana Catering and other clients.
Daryne is ForumPoint2’s specialist in managing the comprehensive and confidential logistics process involved in regional and national awards programmes, and for organising memorable events for their presentation. She is the dedicated Project Manager for the NZ Institute of Architects.
Kathryn believes that forming positive working relationships with all stakeholders ensures success for all parties, she also believes in the adage that there are no problems, rather solutions to discover. With a passion for the conference and events industry; Kathryn brings her organisational and communication skills, eye for detail and practical approach to FP2.
These varied roles have allowed Paula to develop a sound background in all aspects of administration but more importantly building of relationships with a variety of people and professions. Paula is often vivaciously described as a “rock star” by the people who deal with her frequently.
Melanie is completely proficient in EVENTS conference and exhibition software management.
Kate is a key member of the FP2 projects team for the Hamilton 400 V8 Supercars event. Her enthusiasm for all aspects of event management, practical experience in the hospitality industry and fine technological skills has ensured her a key position in our projects team for events including the Tua Cameron Fight of the Century and the Rhythm and Vines festival.
Sandra’s career prior to joining ForumPoint2 included working for several financial institutions and for a large international company as export sales and distribution manager. The latter role included client liaison and project management of new business systems.
